Bouchercon is coming up. We'll be making our way to Madison, WI, on Wednesday, and one of the panels I'm on (Sunday morning, 9:00 A. M.) will include Louise Ure. Besides having been nominated for a Shamus for her first novel (Forcing Amaryllis), she was involved in advertising for a while and was connected to some extent with the California Raisins (yes, they even have their own Wikipedia entry). I'm going to have to be sure to ask her about that.
