Once Again, Texas Leads the Way

Criminalizing everyone - Washington Times: "'You don't need to know. You can't know.' That's what Kathy Norris, a 60-year-old grandmother of eight, was told when she tried to ask court officials why, the day before, federal agents had subjected her home to a furious search.

The agents who spent half a day ransacking Mrs. Norris' longtime home in Spring, Texas, answered no questions while they emptied file cabinets, pulled books off shelves, rifled through drawers and closets, and threw the contents on the floor.

The six agents, wearing SWAT gear and carrying weapons, were with - get this- the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service."

This is absolutely, horrifically wrong. These people should be compensated in a huge way, but then they can't bring a civil suit against the Feds, can they? Lives destroyed while the Feds sing Heigh-Ho! and skip onto the next travesty of justice.

This should have been the top headline story on every news outlet WHEN IT HAPPENED but no one ever heard of it.

They've pulled that stuff in Montana, mostly looking for eagle feathers. Some years ago a rancher was awakened in a 4 a.m. raid by a whole armada of feds, plus the press. They rushed into his and his wife's bedroom, stuck an automatic weapon into his mouth, breaking a tooth, and then proceeded to hunt--for dead eagles. They didn't find any.
