Shoot me now. No, first explain why there's a comma in front of Smith's name. Then shoot me.

You know, this does sound like Oscar bait...

Man, I wish we would see the end of this "...let's remake..." period.

Hey, I wasn't all that thrilled with the first version.

I'm sure it will be great, however. After all, look at WILD WILD WEST.

Nooooooooooooo......

Why do they have to take fine films and attempt to make remakes that...oh forget it!

This will be another movie that will NOT get my money. (This Will Smith is starting to bother me!)

Let me add to your uh-oh with an oh crap! Cause that's what it likely will be.

I thought CHARLY was okay, but I really don't see the need for a new "version", (that's a scary word) and Will Smith sounds wrong to me for the role anyway.

I work in a school library (junior high) and Flowers for Algernon is still on the recommended reading list. It's very "sixties" in its tone and approach. I think they'll have to jettison a lot of the storyline to make it palatable to an audience today. Besides, where's the part where Charley gets to blow up some stuff or put a beat down on some bad guys?

At least the planned Will Smith remake/desecration of the excellent Korean flick Oldboy seems to be dead:
