Didn't like any of the previous three versions, from Wertmuller's SWEPT AWAY... on over. Remarkable the appeal of this bassically misogynst screed has for certain women.

Jeez, it doesn't seem like the "original" (I'm referring to the one with Goldie Hawn & Kurt Russell) is old enough to justify a remake. (Not to mention good enough, funny enough, enjoyable enough, etc.)

Jennifer who?

Jennifer who suggested good things to come in OUT OF SIGHT and to some extent SELENA. Pity about how that turned out, so far.

Deb, that's the problem with getting old: everything is starting to be a long time ago. I know it seems like they're remaking movies they just made last week, but....

Deb is right; the original sucked (to put a George kelly spin on it) so why'd they want to remake it?

Sweep the drugs out of Hollywood and they'd make 50% fewer movies a year.
