Trump: I ‘screwed’ Gadhafi

Well, that sure convinces me. Forget 2012, make Trump president now!

I take John ("We Are Doomed") Derbyshire's view: " I am more and more convinced that I live in a world gone mad, and that the best I can hope to accomplish is to steer my own little four-person boat safely through the white water."

That's probably all most of us can realistically hope to do.

I thought Gadhfi had better taste than that.

Oddly enough I heard Trump interviewed on a Canadian radio station Monday. At one point in the interview (recorded in the infamous Boardroom from "The Celebrity Apprentice") he seemed to get irritated with the show's host Jian Ghomeshi and said "I could have just phoned this in." Beyond selective memory about his TV show, and the usual ego pumping which takes credit for every good thing that has happened to anyone who has appeared on his show, his political position is hardly progressive: it seems to be centered on getting the US to stopp being the world's policeman and bringing jobs back to America (which sounds like the opening shot of a trade war to me).

I don't know if this is region restricted but the interview can be found here:
