I've only seen five, one of them twice.

50 Greatest Films? In what universe? THE MIST? I think not. BLAIR WITCH PROJECT was incredibly overrated crap. Some I've never even heard of.

I do agree on BREAKING THE WAVES - good but once was more than enough.
I've seen SCHINDLER'S LIST more than once. And GONE WITH THE WIND way more than that.

Overall I think I've seen 14.

I've seen seven of them more than once, and "GWTW" and "Sophie's Choice" at least ten times each.
Vivian Leigh's and Meryl Streep's performance are two of the greatest English language performances of all time, in my opinion.

Shouldn't a "great" movie by its very definition be one that you want to see more than once? I think either the term "great" or the phrase "watch only once" has been misapplied in the article.

/Seen at least 20 of them--the great ones more than once.

Un Chien Andulu is only 15 minutes long. I've seen it twice in an hour.

Haven't seen most of them, but don't think I've missed any thing that I would call great. There are some good movies in here, e.g. GWTW which I've seen several times with enjoyment.
I would agree that Seventh Seal is great. I've watched it 3 or 4 times and no doubt will watch it several more times.
