You know the fact they even got an award seems to me proof that awards don't really mean anything. They did give the award for best heavy metal album to Jethro Tull. (Though at least Tull wasn't that bad of band, they jus weren't heavy metal.)
What I remember most about that scandale was that VH-1 started their "Behind the Music" franchise with the ultimately quite tragic story of Milli Vanilli. But I certainly agree it's hard to believe that it's been 24 years since it happened. Wow!
