CDs are "past their prime" only for those who don't care about sound quality. Streaming, downloadable music reproduced on equipment playing MP3 files is clearly inferior, but CurrentGen listeners don't seem to notice or care.

Well, given the crap they listen to, does it really matter?

And keep off my damn lawn!

When I first moved to L.A., my roommate worked at Tower Records on Sunset. That was a happening place! I'd be interested in watching that documentary.

Me too, Deb. I used to go to that Tower, the classical store across the street.

I worked at Tower Honolulu in 1984, Tower Tyson's Corner (Virginia) in 1992 and Tower Books Philadelphia in 1996. These, sadly, were Not jobs I could recommend, albeit I needed a job and they were, unsurprisingly, hiring.
