Nor I. But any list that omits MacDonald's THE GIRL, THE GOLD WATCH AND EVERYTHING has failed in its intent from the get-go.
Now there's one I've read. More than once.
I'm not sure I'd call *Slaughterhouse Five* funny, exactly...But the Doug Adams books (I'd put the entire Hitchhiker's saga on the list, not just Book 1) are hilarious, and deeply serious at the same time.
No John Sladek? Really?
