When I was in high school (1959-1963) I went to all the car dealers in the area when the new models came out. A friend and I would go in at slow times, and tell them our dads wanted us to pick up a brochure for each of the models, as he was considering a car and wanted a brochure before coming in for a test drive. It worked, and we had a great collection of them. I really, really wish I still had them, in good condition. They're hard to find, especially those years.

I used to pick them up in the late '50s. And of course they're all gone now, drat it.

What!? You once had a collection of something and no longer have it!?

My mother tossed a lot of stuff of mine. A lot.
