I was on "Jeopardy" once (in the mid-1990s; I came in second place and still have the bedroom set that I won). Before I went on the show, I did bone up on operas, classical music, Canadian geography, and astrology. Those were more common topics than they appear to be today.

Is it just me, or have the questions gotten easier?

Not sure about the easines of the questions, but I do notice that Alex is having a lot of what I'd call "senior moments" lately; he often says a response is right (or wrong) before the contestant finishes speaking or fails to hear a response (whether it's wrong or right).
