Greg Maddux #1, baloney. There were too many games when, if the Braves were leading after 6 innings, he asked out. For all of Nolan ryan's strikeouts he lost 292 games and barely finished above 500 in winning percentage.

Randy Johnson sure didn't live up to any of that in his stint with the Yankees.
