Sadly fraudulent list, apparently...the "Polish"-American surf band flourished not in the early '60s but in the latest (1969 into the '70s), or so the likes of AllMusic would have us believe. Not too far wrong about at least a lot of these, however.

I must admit that even though I lived through the era I've never heard of - or (fortunately) heard - most of these. I do love the classic "I Want My Baby Back" - a parody of "Leader of the Pack" - but then I admit to a sick sense of humor.

And yes, I remember Mrs. Miller.

On a side note-the Legendary Stardust Cowboy was produced by T Bone Burnett.
I would have included Do the Freddy by Freddie & the Dreamers.

How about "Tiptoe Through the Tulips" by Tiny Tim? Without him there would have been no Elva Miller.

It's pretty bad when Moms was the best of the lot. As for Alfred E. Newman, I much prefer his classic "She Got a Nose Job."

Utter nonsense - "The Crusher" is totally brilliant.

And if you're gonna point out how bad an Alfred E. Neuman record is, you should at least spell the guy's name correctly.

...AND The Shaggs "discovered by the Internet not so long ago"? How old is this writer? Eleven?
